7/2023 English and Japanese proficiency test

According to the annual plan, every 7th month, Hamaden Company organizes a foreign language proficiency test for all employees in the company. As every year, the exam is conducted in two languages, English and Japanese.

The contest is held annually for the purpose of assessing the foreign language ability of employees, thereby helping to improve foreign language ability & improve work efficiency.
This years Japanese exam was held on July 15, while the English exam was held on July 23.

The Japanese language proficiency test consists of levels: 1kyu, 2kyu, 3 kyu, 4 kyu arranged according to the prescribed percentage, including the following sections: Vocabulary + kanji + Reading comprehension (50 minutes), listening comprehension (30 minutes).

Toeic English test consists of sections: Listening (45 minutes), Reading (75 minutes) conducted by IIG Vietnam.

In order to organize the exam fairly and effectively, before taking the official exam, first-time registered members will take the mock exam and need to score 25% or higher in English, 35% or higher in Japanese to participate in the official exam. To achieve the best results, all members should make efforts to review and try their best.

Here are the things to keep in mind when taking the English and Japanese exams:

  • Candidates must absolutely comply with the stipulated time. Arrive at the exam room 15 minutes in advance
  • Candidates are only allowed to use pencils and erasers to take the test.
  • Candidates must comply with the exam regulations and guidelines of the CBCT.
  • Candidates who have a serious attitude and sense of taking the exam, in the exam room must absolutely maintain order, not speak unconsciously.
  • Do not ask questions, look at other peoples articles, do not record documents, do not exchange, talk privately.
  • Do not work separately during exam hours.
  • Do not ask to go out during exam time.
  • Power off the mobile phone, do not use or receive calls with the mobile phone.
  • Candidates are only allowed to bring the following items into the exam room:  Employee ID, ID card, needle pencil, 2B pencil, eraser and watch. (Do not use dictionary needles and any materials in the exam room.)
